Son of Elsewhere is an autobiography exploring themes of identity, immigration, and pop culture. This cover design features large type that is separated and bleeding off the page, referencing the separation and distance the author explores in reconciling multiple cultural identities. The warm, vibrant colours are inspired by Sudanese art. Paintstrokes are faintly visible in the background, symbolizing the author's interwoven, layered identity.
